My name is Maureen and I’m a certified craniosacral therapist. I began my training in craniosacral therapy (CST) through the Upledger Institute in 2019 and my journey has included the study of somato-emotional release as well as CST for pregnancy and for pediatrics. In 2021, I also began my education in visceral manipulation through the Barral Institute. I love both of these modalities – they have changed my life! – and I love sharing their gifts with my clients.

I’m also a pediatric nurse practitioner and after working in primary care for a number of years, have recently made the shift to functional medicine working with children on the autism spectrum at Van Zant Medical Group. I feel so honored to do this work.

I have a bachelor’s degree in international development studies from McGill University, an associate’s degree in nursing from Phillips Beth Israel School of Nursing, and a masters of science in nursing degree from Columbia University. I am certified as a craniosacral therapist through the Upledger Institute. I am also a fellow of the Medical Academy of Pediatrics & Special Needs (MAPS.) In my spare time, I enjoy being with my children and husband, reading, spending time in nature, doing yoga, and creating healing herbal blends.
